TEAM MEMBER– ADVERTISED 24TH JULY 2024…

Due to the growth in demand for our services, as well as a change in circumstances for an existing member of our team, the Bramblewood Project is actively looking for new member/s to join its community of practitioners.

Working as part of a close-knit team at our beautiful Bramblewood Project (in all weathers), this role will be centred around working on our sessions for young people. The successful candidate/s will be able to form meaningful connections and relationships with members of each Bramblewood learning community, as well as share their own relevant existing (and emerging) skills for the benefit of the community as needed.

With the Bramblewood Project as a loud & proud champion of children’s advocacy, children’s rights, self-directed learning & consent-based education, all practitioners hold a commitment to continually develop their understanding of these fields and to craft their practice accordingly. Being set in the middle of the woods- so immediately in the more-than-human world– all team members work hard to grow relevant skills & understanding to support this, as well as advocate for the natural surroundings in which we work.

Whilst the opportunity affords weekly term-time work for up to 3-4 days/week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays), candidates may choose to only apply for one/some of these days, as their availability/preference dictates. Daily rates of pay (£57.69 – £100.85) will be dependent on skills, experience & responsibilities undertaken as part of the team, and include an annual leave quota. For experienced candidates who are looking for further responsibility and opportunities, work on additional sessions may become a possibility.

A full index of the Bramblewood Project’s policies is available upon request. Candidates are encouraged to ask as many questions prior to (& during) their application as possible, whether mundane & practical, or deep & philosophical!

In addition to the above vacant post, we are always interested in hearing from anyone who has an interest in becoming part of our community of professionals in other ways. We very often have extra demand for our services; as such, knowing a range of professionals who may be interested in working with us can be especially helpful for ourselves, and the young people we work with.

To let us know a little about yourself and to express an interest in becoming part of our wider community of Bramblewood practitioners, get in touch via our contact form.

The Bramblewood Project is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This role requires the post-holder to protect and safeguard children at all times. As such, safeguarding checks will be made on potential candidates prior to their appointment.
