Happy August Bramblers!

At the very start of September we’re going to run our first ever Bramblewood Festival! This is going to be a 2-day extravaganza of events that families can book into to get a taster of what we do (or get more of what they already enjoy, if they’re an existing BW family) It won’t be sleep-over & indeed participants will only really be on site for the events they’re booked into. We’ve got a programme of events more-or-less inked in that currently looks like this (it may change a bit, but seeing our draft plan will give a flavour):

Friday 1st Sep
9-11: Pancake Bramblebrunch for professionals/council/local authority
9-12 Community volunteer session in the Forest Garden
1-3 Children play session: focus tbc
4-530 Tai Chi / Chi Gung
630-8: “I’m a grownup; when’s my forest school session?” Adults Forest School Session

Saturday 2nd Sep
9-11 Pancake Bramblebrunch for allotmenteers
Throughout daytime, time tbc: Whittling workshop
2-4 Children’s session: focus tbc
530-7: Shadow Puppet Workshop
8-9: Family Shadow Puppet Shows (sunset 7:55pm)

We’re incredibly excited about what these days could hold & we’re keen to shout very loudly about our little festival, firstly to our existing community of families, & then to the wider local community. The more people that are happy & excited to be part of our festival, the even-more-fun it will be!

Tickets for each event will be going live soon (family shadow puppet show highly recommended!), however the community volunteer session just needs a quick message to say “I’m coming”
